Robert Maynard Pirsig. It used to be cult book in the 70’s and has been almost forgotten. Yet it has to say something tha does not have to do anything with cult- a cult is a trend that vanishes and is always replaced by another one with a different surface, with the same boring and simple underlying structure.
This book is asking and pondering around one question: What is Quality?
My loving this book I sense comes from the fact that this is my primary motivation in anything I do since I am aware of being.
Pirsig’s second book, Lila is even more special yet more consumable.
Let’s see a famous quote from Zen:
Steel can be any shape you want if you are skilled enough, and any shape but the one you want if you are not.
Isn’t it the same with your Power? 🙂
